STC Partnerships

Since May 2006, STC has been actively seeking to partner with other organizations that offer training and career development. To date, the Society has established partnerships with the following:

The Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA), a leading international forum for organizations doing business globally. STC and LISA will co-host educational events such as Live Web Seminars. Details to be announced soon.
The Gilbane Group, which produces conferences and publishes newsletters on content management technologies. STC has negotiated special rates for its members who attend Gilbane conferences. Look for e-mails announcing these special rates from the STC office.
Multilingual, the leading industry magazine for Web site globalization. Multilingual and STC have entered into a cross-promotional deal.
The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), which provides its members with access to tools, methods, processes, innovations, talent and specialized expertise that can directly improve their ability to acquire new business. STC and APMP are planning to co-sponsor a live Web seminar later this year and are investigating other cooperative ventures.

In addition, STC currently has several partnerships pending, including one with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. Look for e-mails announcing conference discounts and other partnership benefits from the STC office.
