LCR News and Updates

With new Leadership Community Resource (LCR) Manager Jackie Damrau on board, the LCR is moving ahead in its efforts to make itself available to STC communities. The resource recently revived three chapters (Heartland, Montreal, and Charlotte Regional) and welcomed the incoming presidents of the Pittsburgh and Philippines chapters, both of whom requested a mentor in STC leadership.

The LCR has also been working closely with STC’s new Community Relations Manager, Evelyn McCamey, to discuss ways of supporting communities and addressing their needs. In addition, it has assigned mentors to seven communities in crisis and will continue to contact geographic communities to introduce the LCR and its mission and to ask if community leaders would like an assigned mentor.

The LCR anticipates that the Community Handbook will be available in September.
