Notice for Communities: Please Remove References to Regions in Events and Materials

In 2005, the STC Bylaws were changed to reflect that STC is no longer organized by region.

Communities planning what have been previously labeled “regional conferences” should give their conferences new names. For example, names such as “Region X Conference” are inappropriate, as the region no longer exists! In addition, going forward, communities should update their Web sites and other community materials to remove language relating to regions.

Please Update Board E-mail Addresses on Community Web Sites

As a result of recent changes to the e-mail addresses used by STC’s Board of Directors, community leaders may need to update information on their Web sites and in other community materials.

E-mail aliases will be phased out shortly. Please refer to the e-mail addresses listed on the STC Web site for contacting the Board. Please remove the old alias addresses (pres@stc.org, 1vp@stc.org, etc.) from your Web site and other material.
