STC wants to know about your professional accomplishments and contributions to your company or clients. How do you quantify the value you bring?

Note: We're not looking for the value of technical communicators in general—we asked for that in Intercom in 2007 and ran the responses to our value contest in the December 2007 Intercom. Now, we're looking for specifics about the work done by you as an individual. Imagine that we asked your boss, "How does [your name] contribute to the bottom line of your business? How much is that worth to your company?" What would your boss say?

Write it up in 100 words or less and send it to Intercom with "professional accomplishments" as the subject line. We hope to use these responses as the basis for a new Web-based feature where we recognize members who have made a difference. Stay tuned for details!
